Halak may be signable, Miller may be open, Hiller IS available, but the Isle's system needs change. They have had some tolerable G's over the last couple years (nothing great, but tolerable). NYI need to bring in a Trotz to get them focused on D and support middling, young D or a O-focused coach and make it a go one way or the other. No more on the fence style or focus on teams weakness' to coach on. Emphasis on the strength. |

Often, its a good sign when both sides are quiet. It could mean negotiations are going on behind the scenes.
I wish Halak the best, I hope he settles in there and plays well. The Islanders seem a good fit for him. |
